Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Cleaning: Extract data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, third-party tools), perform data cleaning, and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of datasets.
Analysis & Modeling: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that impact business performance.
Reporting & Visualization: Design and maintain intuitive, high-impact dashboards (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs).
Business Insights: Translate technical findings into clear, non-technical recommendations for management. Partner with stakeholders to solve business problems and optimize processes.
Ad-hoc Reporting: Respond to data requests from various departments, providing timely and accurate analysis to support day-to-day operations and strategic projects.
Documentation & Governance: Maintain documentation of data definitions, metrics logic, and analysis methodologies to ensure consistency across the organization.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and suggest improvements to our data collection processes or infrastructure.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role. Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and provide meaningful business recommendations.
Technical Skills:
SQL: Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
Visualization: Hands-on experience with at least one major BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker Studio).
Analysis: Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis (pandas, NumPy, scipy).
Excel: Advanced spreadsheet skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling).
Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and data modeling best practices.

Analytical Rigor: A logical mindset with the ability to question assumptions and validate results through thorough investigation.
Communication: Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data-driven narratives to non-technical stakeholders.
