We are seeking a high-energy, performance-driven, and results-oriented Sales Professional (Sales Executive/ASM) to join our FMCG sales team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our market presence, responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding distribution coverage, and fostering long-term relationships with retail and wholesale partners. Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement regional or territory sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Team Leadership (ASM focus): Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of field sales representatives. Set clear individual KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and drive team motivation and productivity.
Market Penetration: Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution into new retail outlets, wholesalers, and key account chains within the assigned territory.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong consultative relationships with key distributors and shop owners to ensure loyalty, reliable inventory levels, and preferred product placement.
Trade Marketing & Merchandising: Oversee the execution of brand visibility, shelf-share, and point-of-sale promotional activities. Ensure that our product range is correctly priced and showcased effectively.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities (promotions, pricing, new product launches) and report findings to management, providing actionable insights to refine our competitive strategy.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data, territory performance, and distribution metrics to make informed, data-driven decisions regarding resource allocation and strategic focus.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in FMCG sales. For ASM roles, demonstrated leadership experience managing sales teams in the field is essential. Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in sales management software, CRM tools, and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint for reporting).
Strong financial acumen: Ability to analyze sales margins, P&L, and trade investment effectiveness.
Expertise in Route-to-Market strategies and traditional trade/key account dynamics.
