Position Overview:
As a Country Representative based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will serve as SIMs key liaison in southern Vietnam. You will work to strengthen SIMs presence through strategic partnerships, institutional outreach, and public engagement, while ensuring all activities are aligned with the local regulatory framework. You will play a pivotal role in expanding SIMs footprint in Vietnam, working in close coordination with our Vietnam Representative Office located in Hanoi and our SIM Headquarters based in Singapore.
Job Description
Job Title: Country Representative
Department: Regional Recruitment Department, Student Recruitment Division
Reports to: Country Manager of Vietnam
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent SIM in Vietnam and promote awareness of its educational offerings and initiatives.
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to enhance SIMs brand visibility.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local educational institutions, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
• Support the organisation of education-related events, seminars, and networking activities.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic insights to support SIMs regional planning.
• Achieve performance targets based on KPIs set in coordination with the Vietnam Representative Office and SIM headquarters.
• Contribute to SIMs social media platforms by providing timely, relevant, and engaging content from Vietnam.
• Ensure all activities comply with Vietnams legal and regulatory requirements.
• Travel within Vietnam, and occasional travel to Singapore required to support outreach and coordination efforts.
Yêu cầu
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in education services, international relations, or
business development
.
• A sound understanding of the education landscape in Singapore and around the region
• Strong network within the Vietnamese education, private and public sectors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Vietnamese and English.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• Self-driven, culturally aware, and capable of working as a team and independently.
