Job Purpose
The Project Engineer is responsible for managing and executing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities/Major Tasks/Principal Accountability
• Lead engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
Yêu cầu
Years of Experience Required
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in product engineering, ideally in toy and entertainment industry, is preferable.
• A solid individual contributor in his/her professional field
Technical Skills Requirement
• Bachelors degree in Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of toy regulations and standards
• Basic skills in tool building & toy manufacturing processes
• Basic in CAD/CAE (Pro/E, Solidworks)
• Basic in mechanism design
• Basic in design for manufacturing and automation
• Basic skills in tool building & toy manufacturing processes
• Basic in CAD/CAE (ZBrush, FreeForm, Pro/E, Solidworks)
• Motorized mechanism design (Selection of motor, gear trains, clutch, linkage, choice of materials)
• Software and hardware solutions (Experience in IR/RF/BLE/App/Audio/Optics/Motor Control Systems)
• Design for manufacturing and automation
• Product and tooling cost estimation
• Excellent command of English, Mandarin is plus
Soft Skills Requirements
• He/she will be an important part of driving the success of the teams daily operation
• Occasionally, he/she will be required to make operational decisions to ensure daily operation is efficient and effective
• Fast learner with a passion for continuous learning and expanding his/her technical skills is essential
• Strong teamwork capability, be able to cooperate with colleagues from different background, department and levels
• Showing potential or ideally some relevant experience in coaching others, e.g. leading best practice, acting as escalation point, sharing experience and information
• Respects the process and companys practices while not afraid to challenge the status quo
• Showing potential or ideally some relevant experience in leading and managing a project
• Excellent partnership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-evolving environment
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Innovative, passionate, initiative and adaptive
