* What Youll Do:
- Requesting and checking commercial documents from suppliers
- Ensuring all relevant commercial documents are received in timely manner allow for smooth custom clearance process
- Processing shipping documentation and updating system accordingly
- Verifying and cross referencing all invoices received match to current rate cards on file (both overseas and Australian charges)
- Disputing and/or elevating (to Logistics Team Leader) any incorrect invoices received as an urgent matter
- Ensuring all shipping line invoices are paid on time
- Checking statement of accounts and following up as required
- Attach all EDOs and Tax Invoices into our system for transport team to access
- Emailing all EDOs to Wharf Freight Controller in a timely manner
- Interact as required, with Australian Logistics team on delayed documents, EDOs, Tax Invoices etc
- Checking Shipping Line and Freight Forwarder Arrival notices
- Checking order confirmations from suppliers and updating our system accordingly
- Detention Queries to be raised, investigated and mitigated wherever possible
- Invoice and documentation filing
Yêu cầu
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong English communication skills and Mandarin will be highly preferred
- Demonstrated understanding and experience interpreting and applying shipping policies, principles, processes, and procedures
- Sound knowledge of and demonstrated experience in computerised supply systems and Microsoft Office programs - advanced skills in excel is an advantage
- Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to manage change effectively
- Proven ability to work within a team, able to interact and collaborate with all levels in the organisation whilst also being able to work autonomously
- Well-developed written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills including the ability to consult with a range of people, and recognise and respect confidential and sensitive matters
- Demonstrated capacity to develop relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiate desired business outcomes
- Well-developed analytical, research and evaluation skills
- Well-developed proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on finding solutions
- Sound planning, organisational and administrative skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and ensure achievement of goals and meet deadlines
- Analytically astute with ability to analyse statistics, trends, calculate costs and fault find
- Proficient in data entry and data management
