1. Check all import docs from international supplier, do all custom clearances to get the material on time. 2. Get clear all the import shipment and arrange it to deliver in plant. 3. Do and prepare all docs for import refund and custom liquidation, reimbursement. 4. Do and prepare all docs for export order, make sure the product shipment without any delay, mistake. 5. Coordinate with Plant and planning for readiness of material for export order. 6. Book the vessel for export goods orders as per schedule commitment and material ready in plant. 7. Set up custom docs, proforma invoice, contract, B/L, L/C, declare with custom, and handle the schedule for loading containers. 8. Communication with head office Mumbai, customer and supplier for any export and import related activities. 9. To foresee the movement and Keep tracking of import-export goods, shipments, vessels and if any delays in the shipment need to be notified to the Manager and customers. 10. Frequently check and get update about Customs and PPD related decree, law and regulation. 11. Frequently update tariff, duties, restrictions, import licenses, registrations. 12. Frequently keep update the chemical banned list in Vietnam. 13. Negotiation, Renewing contracts with the transporters, logistic, Shipping lines, forwarders. 14. Keeping good relationships with the government agencies, PPD, Customs, DIZA, transporters, shipping lines, freight forwards, clients, vendors are essential for the Import-Export manager to be successful in his position. 15. Monitoring of the shipments to ensure the compliance of regulations. 16. Search for possibilities to reduce taxes. 17. Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of imports and exports 18. Prepare, Monitor, record, analyses, trend an import-export activities.
