- Sourcing raw material: o Need to prioritize the local sourcing. o Need to source at least 3 suppliers for each request from customer. o Need to be really reactive to be sure can achieve the best lead time, get a good price and selected good supplier. The textile market now is really fast and competitive, thus need to be sure we can offer the best to customer. o Need to insure to give all correct information to supplier. - Development of raw material: o Need to insure you get all information from merchandiser before processing. o Need to develop with correct supplier. o Need to control the sample, lab dips, layout… before send to merchandiser. o Need to respect the lead time confirmed. - Order raw material to supplier: o Need to check and insure to get all correct information from merchandiser on the PO. o Need to insure all approved before process the order with supplier. o Negotiate the best prices, quality and lead time with suppliers. o Need to order the raw material on time. o Send contract to supplier to be sure they are agreeing of UA requirement and the contract need to be sign before process. o Control the Shipping sample before giving it to QA to be sure quality, color is correct. o Need to check the documents (quantity, references…) from supplier before send to purchasing admin to process the payment. o Need to follow carefully the order with each supplier to be sure we will receive on time and inform merchandiser on time. Don’t wait merchandiser email. o Need to update all the delivery date on the system on time. - Supplier Management o Verifying and testing supplier. o Reviewing supplier’s performance. o Negotiating with suppliers on prices, payment terms, delivery, tolerance and quality. - Planning: o N eed to order raw material requirement on time. o Need to update the plan for each item on the system and the plan need to be respected. o Need to send planning to QC to be sure when raw material arrive in UA, the QC know the priority. - Delivering: o Need to insure supplier send shipping sample in time. o Need to insure supplier ship the goods in time and with correct document. o Need to insure the quantity the supplier ship is on the tolerance +/- 5% if not need to check with internally. o Need to insure supplier respect the lead time when they need to fix or remake goods. o Quality and Quantity management of delivery. o Recording and updating all deliveries. o Importing documentation. - Reporting: o Need to insure all the order are on the system and update correctly. o Need to insure all the raw material quantity are correct and update on the correct file and share with supplier. - Other tasks as assigned.
