Traveling to suppliers & logistics partners for supply chain quality checks. Constantly communicating management’s needs to suppliers. Sourcing new suppliers as well as maintaining long-lasting relationships with current suppliers. Working with management and legal counsel to ensure that all supply chain operations run legally and according to the management’s expectations. Obtaining quotes from different suppliers. Translating sourcing related documents to Mandarin, English, Vietnamese. Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes. Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies. Fluency in English, and Vietnamese, preferred Chinese (Mandarin). Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field. Strong negotiation skills. Sound time-management and organizational skills.
