About the Role
As our Footwear Senior Costing Analyst, you wont just analyze numbers; youll be a financial strategist directly shaping the success of our iconic brands. Youll be the heartbeat connecting product innovation with business sustainability, working closely with every team from development to supply chain. This role empowers you to lead critical negotiations, uncover groundbreaking cost-saving opportunities, and maximize profitability for Deckers. What Youll Do
• Strategic Costing: Define and implement competitive costing strategies and efficient processes.
• Pricing & Negotiation: Manage pricing to meet brand critical paths and margin goals, actively engaging with design, development, and production teams to optimize product costs. Youll lead seasonal price negotiations with factories and suppliers for all cost components.
• Margin Optimization: Work hand-in-hand with HQ cross-functional teams to achieve company margin targets, identify issues, and propose solutions.
• Partnership & Improvement: Build strong relationships with factories and Business Units (BUs), establish performance benchmarks, and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and coach costing team members, set OKRs, and assess their performance, while fostering strong relationships across BU teams.
Yêu cầu
• Education: University Degree or above.
• Experience: 7+ years of dedicated footwear costing experience.
• Skills & Competencies:
o Deep understanding of footwear constructions and production processes.
o Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
o Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and reporting skills.
o Unwavering work ethic and a strong sense of ownership.
o Proficiency with various systems and advanced Excel.
o Fluent in both spoken and written English.
